Carissa Romano, PA-C MPAS
Carissa Romano joined Federation of Organizations in 2014 serving as Medical Director for the Nursing Home Diversion Supportive Housing Program. Upon the end of that contract, Ms. Romano assumed the role of Integrated Primary Care-Behavioral Health Care Clinician for the PROS Program as well as the Integrated Care Coordinator for the Wyandanch Mental Health Clinic where she has been responsible for the providing physical healthcare to clients and the overall promotion of integration of care across the agency. In March 2020, Ms. Romano assumed the role of Project Director of the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic where she is responsible for providing complete oversight of the program as well as the integration of care operations of the program. Ms. Romano earned her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant from Touro College School of Health Science and her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
