Federation of Organizations is seeking a full-time Program Supervisor for the Supported Housing Programs Supervise staff to ensure the smooth operation of Supported Housing Programs serving people with psychiatric disabilities.

REPORTS TO: Program Manager of Supported Housing
DEPARTMENT: Residential Services
HOURS: 35 Hours per week
PAY: 45K Annually

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma with 5 years of supervisory experience OR Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year experience working with individuals with psychiatric disabilities OR Master’s Degree in Human Services with 1 year experience preferred. Working with individuals with psychiatric disability or Knowledge of residential services, substance abuse services, evidence based practices and psychiatric rehabilitation practice. Clean, valid NY State Driver’s License. Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from NYS Office of Mental Health.

JOB FUNCTION:
Supervise staff to ensure the smooth operation of Supported Housing Programs serving people with psychiatric disabilities. Assist the Program Manager in all aspects of program supervision, management and development.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Direct supervision of staff.
  • Oversight of residents’ records including progress notes and service plans.
  • Monitor the development and implementation of service plans in conjunction with collateral service providers, program staff and residents.
  • Coordinate residents’ admission and discharge processes and documentation with program staff.
  • Monitor occupancy rates, rent collection, etc. in conjunction with the
  • Accounting department and program staff.
  • Oversee financial issues for residents including annual income verifications and rental stipends.
  • Provide supportive counseling and appropriate behavioral intervention with residents.
  • Responsible for general oversight of maintenance issues with conjunction with Program Manager and Facilities Department.
  • Serve as agency representative to outside service providers, community agencies, landlords, and community members.
  • Co-Facilitate staff meetings and trainings including documentation of such.
  • Assist Program Manager in hiring process, trainings and staff evaluations.
  • Completion of chart/record supervision and quarterly monitoring
  • Management of crisis situations and participation in on-call emergency coverage under supervision of Program Manager.
  • Participate in bi-weekly supervision with Program Manager.
  • Complete program reports as required.
  • Comply with agency Compliance Plan and False Claims Policy by preventing, detecting and reporting any potential healthcare abuse and fraud. Report any potential non-compliance and comply with all other federal, state and local regulations applicable to this job description.
  • Utilize all agency based IT applications pertaining to this job description in a proficient manner.
  • Remain current on changing developments in individual field of expertise.
  • Perform additional job duties as necessary
