Senior Companion Program


Sponsored by Federation of Organizations

Senior Companions offer support, friendship and non-medical in-home assistance to other seniors who may be frail, isolated, depressed or living alone. Senior Companions also offer respite assistance to caregivers so that they can have much-needed time off to tend to their personal needs. Caregivers have peace of mind while they are out of the home because they know that the assigned companion is providing a safe and secure environment and caring for their loved one.

  • Aged 55+

The Foster Grandparent Program Goes Back to School!
The Foster Greandparent Program recently commemorated back to school by distributing back packs and school supplies to children at Park Avenue School in Amityville.
