Federation of Organizations is looking for a full-time Program Supervisor to join our Residential team! This individual will assist the Program Manager in all aspects of program supervision, management, and development of our licensed residential program, which provides transitional housing to individuals with psychiatric disabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s Degree in Human Services with 1 year of experience or Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of supervisory experience working with individuals with psychiatric disabilities
• Knowledge of residential services, substance abuse services, and evidence based practices
• Valid and clean NY State driver license 
• Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from NYS Office of Mental Health
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Strong supervisory skills
• Ability to multi-task

CORE & ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITY:

• Provide direct supervision of staff at least twice per month, with completion of accurate documentation
• Provide direct oversight of progress notes, service plans in conjunction with collateral service providers, program staff, and residents monthly
• Oversee health office activities and medication management services weekly
• Coordinate residents’ admission and discharge processes and documentation weekly or as often as needed
• Ensure maintenance of occupancy rates and rent collection weekly
• Facilitate weekly staff meetings and trainings
• Manage crisis situations and participate in on-call emergency coverage under supervision of Program Manager
• Provide supportive counseling and appropriate behavioral intervention with residents
• Serve as a liaison with outside service providers as required

SALARY: $50,000.00 Annually
