REPORTS TO: Program Manager

DEPARTMENT: Financial Management

HOURS: 35 hrs per week- Hybrid Schedule

PAY: 35K Annually

QUALIFICATIONS:

B.A. Degree/ Equivalent Two Years Customer Service or Human Service Experience Preferred. Clean, valid NYS Driver’s License, Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from NYS Office of Mental Health and all clearances from the Justice Center.

JOB FUNCTION:

The Financial Manager, representing the Representative Payee Program, conducts intake/phone screenings with potential mental health consumers of the Financial Management Program to determine program eligibility. The Financial Manager is responsible for the completion of consumer’s record and maintenance of their file. They serve as a liaison with the Social Security Administration. The Financial Manager prepares monthly budget for consumer based on individual’s needs and resources. They maintain monthly contact with recipient and/or treatment provider for monitoring recipient’s status.
