HOURS: 35 per week; 9:00am – 5:00pm
PAY: $52,000- $56,000/year
Licensed mental health professional with 3 years of experience in behavioral health or related human services field with children and adolescents. Two years administrative work with system of care experience preferred. Strong working knowledge of children’s behavioral health system a plus.
The Federation of Organizations Children’s SPOA Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and evaluating the Suffolk County Children’s Single Point of Access (CSPOA), a centralized intake and monitoring process for referrals for high intensity mental health services for children and youth who have been diagnosed with serious mental illness and whose illness interferes with their ability to function in the community, home, school and/or work. Responsible for system of care development and maintenance. The candidate in this position assists the Director of Children’s Services with CSPOA agency service coordination, referral management and cross systems collaboration. Work is performed under the general direction of the Director of Children’s Services of the Suffolk County Division of Community Mental Hygiene.
