The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Nassau County (RSVP)

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Nassau County connects adults who are 55 years of age and older with a rewarding volunteer opportunity based on their availability, skills, interests, talents and abilities. The RSVP also aims to address the community needs of Nassau County, including areas such as mentoring and tutoring youth, delivering meals, providing financial, job and tax counseling, assisting in food pantries, acting as museum tour guides, assisting the frail/elderly and individuals with special needs, home repair, transportation, friendly visiting, advocacy and emergency preparedness assistance.

The Foster Grandparent Program Goes Back to School!
The Foster Greandparent Program recently commemorated back to school by distributing back packs and school supplies to children at Park Avenue School in Amityville.
