Federation of Organizations

Federation of Organizations operates two Community Centers

in Suffolk County for people recovering from mental illness. 

Employment services, vocational experiences, computer training,

 GED, transportation, and social activities are available. 

The centers provide meaningful work experiences whereby

members regain self-respect and purpose.  Members work

alongside staff in all business aspects of the center, and in

developing and carrying out the rehab and social activities. 

All activities are designed to satisfy the vocational and

rehabilitation goals of the members.  Dual recovery

and peer counseling is available, and assistance in

advocacy, entitlements and budgeting.
