CR/SRO

Federation of Organizations operates a 50 bed CR/SRO (Community Residence Single Room Occupancy) residential facility located on the grounds of Pilgrim Psychiatric Center in Brentwood.  The Irving Berkowitz Residence is a transitional housing program for Suffolk County Residents who are either being discharged from hospitals, in need of housing, or have a history of not having their intensive needs met through traditional housing programs.  Many of the residents come to the program with a history of chronic homelessness.  The program includes 24-hour staff coverage and intensive individualized rehabilitation services.  For more information, please call (631) 236-4299.
